Our COVID-19 Response: 10% of Ticket Revenues Will Help Prepare the Fintech Leaders of the Future
These are challenging times, and your health and safety is the first priority. We look forward to seeing all of you again in our great city of Atlanta very soon, but we are also excited to host Fintech South this year as a virtual summit and to leverage tech to expand our reach even further and bring the global fintech community together in a common virtual space.
As an industry, fintech is stepping up in variety of ways, from supporting colleagues in the workplace to serving clients and partners. We are honored at Fintech South to be providing a platform to tell your stories and move the industry forward.
Unfortunately, the pandemic is having a disproportionate impact on underserved communities. Along with the obvious public health and economic challenges, the fallout from COVID-19 includes disruption of educational opportunities for youth, especially those with limited or no internet access.
Young people are the key to unlock fintech’s promising future. Thus, 10% of revenues from all Fintech South ticket sales will be donated to TAG Education Collaborative, a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit. TAG-Ed helps Georgia students with access, exposure and awareness to STEM opportunities through innovative and relevant hands-on learning experiences.
By providing exposure today through internships, professional development, immersion experiences and connections to industry professionals we help shape the future workforce possibilities and talent of tomorrow. If your organization would be interested in matching Fintech South’s gift or supporting TAG-Ed in other ways, please contact Heather Maxfield.
